At 9:24 PM, severe thunderstorms were tracked along a line from near Jarrettsville to near Newtown, moving northeast at 25 mph. The main hazard is 60 mph wind gusts. Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall, which could injure people outdoors and damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees, localized power outages are possible, and unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
