What's Happening: Thunderstorms have produced heavy rain across the warned area, with between 2 and 3 inches of rain already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. The hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms, affecting small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor-drainage and low-lying areas. Locations included in the warning include Wilmington, Newark, West Chester, Chester, Pennsville, Coatesville, Westtown, Pitman, Carneys Point, and Downingtown.
