What's Happening: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 2:45 PM EDT for Northwestern Wicomico County in southeastern Maryland and Dorchester County in southeastern Maryland. Severe thunderstorms were located along a line from Queen Anne to near Tilghman Island and are moving southeast at 45 mph. The hazard is 60 mph wind gusts. Expect damage to trees and powerlines. Cambridge and University Of Maryland Center For Environmental Studies may be affected around 2:20 PM EDT, followed by Hurlock and Secretary around 2:25 PM EDT and Federalsburg around 2:30 PM EDT. Other locations impacted include Galestown, Brookview, Eldorado, Andrews, Hoopersville, Crocheron, Honga, Church Creek, Wingate, and Lloyds.
