SPC also nudged Ocean City and Salisbury into a General Thunderstorms Risk on Day 1, while Cape Charles remains under a Marginal Risk. The rest of Delmarva is still riding a quiet, mostly sunny afternoon behind lingering morning fog.
Current Severe Weather Picture: The severe threat is concentrated on the southern tip of the peninsula, where a hot, humid airmass is in place and a stray strong-to-severe storm is possible into early evening. Cape Charles sits inside the SPC Marginal Risk. Farther north across Maryland's Eastern Shore and Delaware, storms are not expected today — just general thunder potential returning tomorrow along the immediate coast.
