SPC continues a Slight Risk over the southern Delmarva — Salisbury, Ocean City, Chincoteague, and Cape Charles — with the afternoon AFD flagging torrential rainfall potential capable of scattered to numerous flash flooding instances on the Eastern Shore later today. Northern Delmarva PoPs remain modest, so the flood and severe threat is decidedly south-weighted.
Current Severe Weather Picture: SPC keeps the southern half of Delmarva in a Slight Risk for severe storms today, with the northern half under a broader marginal/general thunder threat. The bigger story is rainfall: Wakefield's discussion highlights torrential downpours and flash flooding potential from the MD/VA Eastern Shore southward this afternoon into evening.
