Today's Weather Story: Widespread showers and thunderstorms are moving through Delmarva this morning as low pressure lifts across the region. Rain is likely at every sampled location, with the highest chances along the Delaware beaches and much of the Maryland Eastern Shore. Conditions should become less widespread later today, but scattered showers and storms may linger before skies begin to improve tonight.

- Flash Flood Warning for Worcester County, Maryland, until 7:45 AM EDT.
Severe Weather Outlook: SPC places Delmarva in a General Thunderstorms Risk, including Wilmington, Dover, Lewes, Salisbury, Ocean City, Chincoteague, and Cape Charles. No categorical severe-weather risk is indicated. WPC does not identify a Delmarva-specific excessive-rainfall risk.
Why This Setup: Low pressure lifting through the region is supplying the morning round of showers and thunderstorms. An approaching cold front helps keep the atmosphere unsettled into the afternoon before drier air arrives tonight.
Looking Ahead: Monday through Wednesday trend mainly dry, seasonable, and noticeably less humid. Skies should clear tonight as the unsettled pattern exits.
Bottom Line: Plan around rain and thunderstorms this morning, especially where flood alerts are active, with improving conditions gradually developing later today.
