Atlantic Coastal Waters (Lewes → southern VA coast): SW winds 10 to 15 kt veer W 5 to 10 kt with gusts to 15 kt this morning, then N early this afternoon and E late. Seas 3 to 4 ft, occasionally to 6 ft, with a SE 3 ft swell at 7 seconds. Showers likely with patchy fog — visibility the biggest concern early.

Delaware Bay: NE winds around 5 kt this morning shift SE this afternoon. Seas around 2 ft. A slight chance of showers early and patchy fog with visibility 1 to 3 nm — wait for the burn-off before heading out.

Chesapeake Bay & Delmarva-facing Waters: SW winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts to 15 kt back to NW late morning, then NE this afternoon. Wave detail SW 1 ft at 2 seconds, SE 1 ft at 7 seconds. Showers likely with patchy fog until afternoon; thunderstorms possible later.

Wind & Seas Outlook: Peak winds arrive Saturday Night with NE 10 to 15 kt gusting 20 kt. Peak seas also Saturday Night at 3 to 4 ft, occasionally 6 ft on the Atlantic.
