Atlantic Coastal Waters (Lewes → southern VA coast): Light onshore flow this morning with manageable seas. The setup deteriorates into Sunday night as E winds build to 15-20 kt gusting 25 kt with seas climbing 4-5 ft, occasionally 7 ft. Showers arrive after midnight Sunday.
Delaware Bay: Bay stays glassy today — seas 1 foot or less under light onshore flow. Tonight NE winds bump to 10-15 kt gusting 20 kt with showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms before diminishing after midnight.
Chesapeake Bay & Delmarva-facing Waters: Light flow below 10 kt through the day, but the LWX marine desk flags afternoon and evening t-storms with strong wind and lightning potential — SMWs are possible. Monday winds ramp to E 15-20 kt gusting 25 kt with a 4 ft chop at 6 seconds.
Wind & Seas Outlook: Peak winds Sunday night into Monday with E 15-20 kt gusting 25 kt. Highest seas Sunday night offshore at 4-5 ft, occasional 7 ft. Tuesday resets to a calm NE 5 kt.
