Atlantic Coastal Waters (Lewes → southern VA coast): Light easterly flow today with seas building modestly. The cleanest slot on the horizon is Sunday night: E around 5 kt shifting SW after midnight, seas near 3 ft at 7 seconds. A few showers possible at times.
Delaware Bay: E 5–10 kt with gusts to 20 kt, backing SE with gusts to 20 kt late. Seas 1 ft or less early, building to around 2 ft this afternoon. Short-period chop on the SE swing — expect a stacked ride near the mouth.
Chesapeake Bay & Delmarva-facing Waters: NE 10–15 kt gusting 20 kt, waves 2–3 ft (E 2 ft at 4 seconds). LWX notes no hazardous conditions through the weekend, with winds staying below SCA criteria. Saturday looks like the calm spot: E 5 kt, waves under 1 ft.
Wind & Seas Outlook: Peak wind and peak seas both hit Tuesday into Tuesday night — SW 15–20 kt, gusts 25 kt, seas 3–4 ft with occasional 6-footers offshore, showers and thunderstorms likely.
