Chesapeake Bay & Delmarva-facing Waters: Small Craft Advisory conditions affect portions of the Bay and nearby inland waters today. Tonight, southwest winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts to 20 kt build waves around 2 ft. No radar cells are currently active over the Bay corridors.
Wind & Seas Outlook: The strongest period is Saturday Night offshore, with southwest winds 15 to 20 kt and gusts to 25 kt. The highest seas also arrive then, reaching 3 to 4 ft with occasional 6-foot sets. Conditions ease Sunday Night, with southwest winds 5 to 10 kt and seas near 2 ft offshore; Delaware Bay drops to around 5 kt with seas 1 ft or less.
